During pregnancy, most women suffer from a problem, and although they follow many ways to reduce it, it is stubborn and appears clearly, but the reason may not be pregnancy!

The results of a new study reveal that genes may be responsible for the appearance of stretch marks in women.

The researchers came to these findings by targeting more than 760,000 people, and they found a link between genes and the appearance of stretch marks.

The study’s lead researcher, Dr. Olga Sazonova, explained that certain genes increase the risk of developing these signs, and they are more prevalent in women compared to those without stretch marks.

The results of the study indicated that these genes are present in approximately 81% of women, while only 19% of them do not have these genes.
