The results of a new study published in the Journal of Psychopharmacology revealed that water can improve and enhance memory.

Where the researchers conducting the study studied the herb rosemary and its effect on the brain, and noted that it works on about 15%.

The researchers noted that this herb contains essential oils that promote blood circulation to the brain.

To confirm this relationship, the researchers targeted 80 healthy participants, and they were divided into two groups as follows:

  • Group 1: They were asked to drink 250ml of rosemary water daily
  • The second group: He asked her to drink only water.

After 20 minutes of drinking the drinks, all participants were asked to complete some memory tasks, and participants’ brains were also scanned to see how much oxygen was there.

The researchers found that the participants who drank rosemary water achieved better results in the tasks required of them, compared to the others.

The researchers reported that mixing rosemary water and melissa had the greatest effect on improving memory and enhancing blood flow to the brain.
